Geographic Information Services (GIS)

The Geographic Information Services Division at Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI) offers a broad range of services to complement ESI’s environmental, natural, and cultural resource operations. We are proud to support internal operations, partners, and clients using Geographics Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Global Positioning System (GPS) technologies for field data collection, technical design, spatial analysis, and cartographic/thematic map and graphics production.

ESI has extensive capabilities in obtaining, managing, and developing natural resource data. Field data collection using mobile applications and equipment is routine for the technical staff. We emphasize mission planning and coordination with the client, project engineers, partners, and technical team(s) to formalize data needs prior to project initiation. The GIS Division utilizes GIS functionality for manipulation of spatial data, applying the appropriate analysis and generating detailed maps and/or drawings.
