Site Assessment and Remediation

Environmental Services, Inc.’s (ESI) Site Assessment and Remediation Division facilitates commercial property transactions and maximizes the value of land.

ESI employees perform due diligence studies to assess for potential contamination and provide solutions for the rehabilitation of impacted properties to applicable environmental standards.

Specializing in an increasingly complex regulatory arena, ESI has developed close working relationships with federal, state and local agency personnel to achieve Site Rehabilitation Completion Orders (SRCOs) and No Further Action (NFA) status for site redevelopment or facility compliance.

 

Site Assessment and Remediation

ESI’s staff in its Site Assessment and Remediation Division includes a diverse group of environmental professionals comprising professional geologists, hydrogeologists, engineers, environmental professionals as defined by EPA's All Appropriate Inquiry Rule (AAI), environmental scientists, Certified Hazardous Materials Managers, Registered Sanitarians, industrial hygienists, asbestos inspectors, air monitoring specialists, solid and hazardous waste specialists, and qualified environmental technicians.

Josh Patterson is a licensed Professional Geologist (NC License No. 2183/GA License No. PG001993/FL License No. PG2579) and Division Director with the Site Assessment and Remediation Division of Environmental Services, Inc., which provides due diligence evaluations during commercial property transactions and facilitates cleanup of contaminated properties for redevelopment or regulatory agency approval.

Michael Burns Michael Burns
Mr. Burns is a hydrogeologist and Licensed Geologist in North Carolina (License Number 1645), South Carolina (License Number 2408) and Florida (License Number 2431). He has extensive experience conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Hydrogeological Site Assessments, Comprehensive Site Assessments, and Corrective Action Plans.
